Excalibur Fencing Club has a New Home

Ottawa Fencing's new venue is at 200 Lees on the Lees campus of the University of Ottawa. The new venue will be accessible from September to April and will have 6 permanent pistes. This new location will be primarily used as a technical and instructional centre. To offset the smaller number of pistes now available at EXO, we have adopted a new format at the RA that will allow us to run 14 to 20 pistes on Mondays and Thursdays. Honour Roll

Congratulations to Marc-André Leblanc who won silver at the latest North American Cup. Combined with his top 64 result at last week's Senior World Cup in Italy, Marc-André has now qualified for the World University Games and is well on his way to qualifying for the Senior National Team.

Congratulations to Isabelle Gauthier who was once again named to the World Junior National Team this week. Isabelle will be representing Canada at the World Junior Championships in Belfast, Ireland in April.

Congratulations also to Kelleigh Ryan (WF), Katrina Ross (WS), and Wesley Ross (MS) who all won their respective events at this weekend's Ottawa Shield, and to Jenn Klowak (WF), Marc-André LeBlanc (ME), and Victoria Stokes (WS) who took home silver medals.

Armand Test
