The Scepter of Idiocy

As of September 14th, 2004, we are adopting a very decent Carleton idea. Known in Carleton circles as the stupid stick, Brock now has the Scepter of Idiocy.

WHY?? We all know why, lets face it. We've had some people do some really classically funny and stupid things...time to reward these people.

Here are the rules:

1. To Earn the Scepter one must do an act that is stupid or at least considered stupid by the rest of the club. In the case of multiple stupid acts by one person or more than one person the club must vote on the most deserving act.

2. Upon earning the Scepter one must describe to the rest of the club how they earned the Scepter and all previous history of the Scepter (if there is any) and the rules of the stupid stick.

3. The Scepter must remain in ones possession at ALL TIMES with the exception of when they are fencing.

4. If the stick is removed from the stupid persons possession without them knowing (without force! it cannot be wrenched out of their hands) that person is entitled to one drink paid for by the stupid person. This can happen at up to a maximum 5 times. After 5 times the stupid person is still responsible for the return of the stick to the club but no longer has to buy drinks when the Scepter is removed from their possession.

Past Winners:

Mike Deinhart - Oct 2004
Mark Carter - Nov 2004 - Banned from receiving it in future
Josh Long - Nov 2004
